The Business Success Center is an entrepreneurial ecosystem builder
This program focuses on helping small business owners and entrepreneurs establish, grow, and sustain their operations — especially for communities of color.
The Opportunity Center has four primary purposes:
- The Opportunity Center represents the community where the ecosystem building work is being done.
- The Opportunity Center maintains real estate (the building) in which programs are conducted where co-working, networking, and relationship building can be facilitated and serve as a positive symbol to the community.
- The Opportunity Center both provides and connects entrepreneurs to capital.
- The Opportunity Center serves as a relationship facilitator and network builder both within the community of color and as a bridge to the broader business ecosystem in the area.

Ascent Learning Platform Powered by the U.S. Small Business Administration
Women own or co-own 45% of all businesses in the United States. These businesses represent all types of industries and are owned by all types of women. The majority are small, with great potential for growth in both revenues and job creation. That’s why we created Ascent and packed it with in-depth information to help grow your business. This learning platform is FREE to use.
Ascent is divided into major topics called Journeys, developed by experts in women’s entrepreneurship. Choose any journey to start, skip the ones you already know. Within each Journey, you’ll find Excursions with the tools you need to master a topic. Each excursion includes a time estimate for completion. You’re the boss of when and how to apply these tools to your business.
