Finance Administrator & VITA Tax Program
Paul joined Increasing H.O.P.E. as Office Administrator in January of 2021, just as the organization stepped into its largest growth opportunity. Since 2009, Paul has served as the Site Coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which offers free tax preparation for individuals and families with low to moderate incomes. Paul is a past board member for the organization, having also served four years as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Paul’s work experience includes more than two decades of management in various arenas ranging from convenience stores to restaurants to call centers. Paul is finishing up a dual major in Accounting and the Associates in Arts Program at Trident Technical College. With a 4.0 GPA, Paul is a member of the international honor society Phi Theta Kappa, where he has served as both president and vice president in the Trident Tech chapter.
Paul has three grown children and two grandchildren.
Little-known fact: Paul has created a unique side income by gathering discarded lottery tickets and checking them for overlooked winners. He has appropriately named this venture “Cash in the Trash.”
